Experience
I worked last year with Upward Bound in the capacity of tutor. This was a college preparatory program to help underprivileged youth. Being in the Education program, I have had the opportunity to observe in classrooms in Marquette, and work with other programs such as Lake Superior Village, giving help with homework to a wide range of ages. I also frequently volunteer at North Star Academy in the classroom and on field trips. I love to help youth and see them succeed over challenging problems. My tutoring experience has been very rewarding and I seek to continue to reach out to others and share my knowledge. I have taken a variety of courses thus far which enable me to teach the various sciences as well as writing composition. I personally study history and have worked in the capacity of a mural painter for the past 16 years.

Hobbies
I love to read, both fiction and nonfiction. I have too many hobbies, but most frequently I dance, cook, garden, paint, ride my bike, and take long walk and hikes with my fiance'. I have a nine year old daughter and thirteen year old stepson.
